Permalinks in MAYFLOWER Catalog Records

The Library's Mayflower online catalog contains catalog records for almost all of the ebooks, streaming videos, and other licensed online materials student and faculty have access to. Each record contains a complete permalink for the item that invokes OpenAthens authentication.

Here's an example of how to get those permalinks.

1. Go to the Mayflower Catalog https://pdmt.ent.sirsi.net/client/en_US/default and search on the words andrew jackson cherokee removal

2. Look down the results list. The 4th entry is for an ebook named The Native South.

The brief record you see has a special field named ONLINE ACCESS. Hover the mouse cursor over the hot-linked text An ebook accessible online; click to access and right-click. The popup menu will allow you to copy the complete permalink for the ebook.

3. If you click on the title to read the complete record for more information about the ebook, you'll again see the ONLINE ACCESS field toward the top of the record.

If you hover over the hot-linked text An ebook accessible online; click to access and right-click, the popup menu will allow you to copy the complete permalink for the ebook.
