Working at Other Libraries

Piedmont University students have many options about working at, or borrowing books from, other college and university libraries in Georgia. This guide describes those options.

University of North Georgia Library at Dahlonega

Fall 2021 COVID-19 Update: UNG Library at Dahlonega is now open to the public again, including Piedmont University graduate students. Please be sure to ask about local requirements or restrictions when you visit or visit their websites to learn more.

Online graduate students within easy driving distance of Dahlonega, Georgia, should take advantage of the book-borrowing privileges available to Piedmont University graduate students at the Library of the University of North Georgia at Dahlonega.

Not long after the beginning of every semester, the Libraries send the UNG Library a list of all graduate students who have fully completed registration and been formally accepted as students of Piedmont University in one of the cohort programs. These borrowing privileges last only for the duration of each semester.

It's a good idea to call ahead at the NGCSU Access Services Department and make sure that your name has reached them before you go the first time. Their phone is 706-542-3256.
